SETS Foundry Limited, a company in Hong Kong, runs this site and offers Mise. In this notice, “we” means SETS Foundry Limited.
When you read this site.
- This site sets no cookie.
- It runs no tracker and no analytics.
- It asks for no name, no email address and no account.
- Its fonts and pictures come from mise.systems itself. While you read, your browser asks no other website for anything.
- The price picks your currency from your device’s time zone. That happens in your browser, and nothing is sent.
Like any website, the computers that send these pages see your device’s internet address and the page it asks for. That is how a page reaches your screen.
When you message us.
Every “Message us” button opens WhatsApp, with a first message already written. You can change it or delete it. Nothing is sent until you press send.
WhatsApp is a service of another company, with its own privacy notice.
When you write to us, we see what you write, and your name and number as WhatsApp shows them. We use them to answer you and to talk with you about Mise.
When you sign in.
Sign in opens the Mise app, at www.mise.systems. It is for the people who work at a restaurant that uses Mise.
The app uses cookies. They keep each person signed in.
They remember the choices a person makes on that device: the business, the venue, the dates on screen, light or dark.
One cookie remembers that the device uses Mise. On that device, mise.systems then opens the app instead of this site.
Restaurants that use Mise.
A restaurant keeps its sales, invoices, team and hours in Mise. This is how they are kept.
- The database of Mise is in Singapore.
- Each business is walled off from every other business in the database itself. Every screen checks who you are.
- A copy of every table is written each week.
- Photos and the weekly copy are kept in a file store, also in Singapore.
- On request, and when a business leaves, the Mise team gives it its data as files: its tables, its invoices and sales, its photos.
